Kevin Christopher

With a life long passion for music and the joy it can bring to so many people, it’s no surprise that Kevin’s love for DJing has flourished over the past 10 years. As a founding member of West Coast Collective, established in 2002, Kevin sought to bring together like minded individuals with the same love of DEEP-HOUSE MUSIC which has inspired him since he began DJing. A genre of music he describes as, “…positive, soulful, love-inspiring, funky, and fun music that just makes you want to dance and smile

“To me, being a DJ is all about being able to effect people in an extremely positive way. Whether it’s through the tracks that I play for a crowded dance floor, or a mix CD I’ve recorded in my studio to give out to people I meet. Music can be a great conduit to bring out emotion. My goal is to bring out the good, positive and happy emotions in those who hear me play the music that I love so much…”

Currently, Kevin can be found DJing gigs up and down the west coast from San Diego to Seattle, but lives and calls the city of Santa Monica his home. Living in the Los Angeles area for close to 5 years now, with no plans to leave, Kevin has built a solid foundation in the ‘House Music’ community, in which he is an active and recognized contributor.
