Saturday February 27th is the date. Two of Los Angeles’ heavy weight crews (we mean that literally cause we have Torin) will have it out and the battlefield will be BALANCE.

Get ready for The West Coast Collective vs The Three Amigos. Kevin, Dustin, Torin, and Ricardo of the WCC have been training hard (as you can see by our ridiculous exaggerated cartoon bodies) and we have been practicing our ninja house moves to take on these worthy opponents. We are sure that Adam Auburn, DJ Depth, and David Bullock of the Amigos haven’t been sitting on their butts either.

Someone told us that one of their secret weapon move is something called the “Dirty Sanchez”. We’re not sure what that is but we have no fear cause Torin’s spatula can stop anything!

This epic legendary battle will be know in the history books as “Hollywoods HOUSE MUSIC NINJA Showdown”.

Ricardo of the West Coast Collective is back in his hometown of Montreal.  He will rocking the decks of the hot spot Mange Boire on Wednesday November 4th for a night called “Les Mercredis DJ”.  If you live in Montreal come out Wed. night to get down to some proper West Coast sounds.  Opening up will be Montreal’s up and coming producer Bacanito (Baldeelox).  MB is located 6961 St-Laurent Street corner of Bélanger.

Yes it’s that time again.  The WCC will be doing their 6 hour little deal at BALANCE this Saturday Sept. 12th.  I know that those of you who don’t live in Los Angeles really care cause well… you can’t be there.  This time you will have the chance to kind of be there virtually.  The nice folks at In Soul We Trust will be broadcasting live our full night (video and audio) on Ustream.com.  I hope you get a chance to join in and jump on the chat board to talk to us.  If you are nice we might even take requests

This week BALANCE presents the one and only Jay-J of Shifted Music and Moulton Studios fame. It’s been a while since this legendary DJ / Producer has paid a visit to our little club so he is ready to blow the roof off of King King. Opening for him and certainly ready to warm things up will be Ricardo Torres of the West Coast Collective. We can guarantee that this night will fill your tank of Deep, Soulful, Sexy and Peak Time House. Read the details below.

This Saturday June 6th, 2009 the West Coast Collective is back at our little corner of House heaven which is called BALANCE.  Our favorite Saturday night club will be rocking for 6 hours from the selections of Dustin, Kevin, and Ricardo.  We will be recording again to post the set in the near future.  Actually chances are that you will soon be getting 12 hours of live music from the WCC since we still have to post the set from our last time there which was April 25th.  We still have to index all those 6 hours of music which is in the works so the wait will be worth it.

If you haven’t yet you can download the 6 hour set from April 9th here.  A note for Internet Explorer users on Windows, if you are having trouble navigating that page when you try to download the last 3 hours then you have to use another browser like Firefox and that will fix the issue.  We are working on fixing this issue in IE.  If you are on a Mac then you should have no issues.
